When Snap realized young people were happy to post about voting but then might not actually vote, they hired NOUN to create an influencer program to rally Gen Z and Millennials to go beyond performative activism and show up at the polls.
NOUN enlisted a roster of talent to spread awareness of the Snapchat “A Post Is Not A Vote” campaign using NOUN-designed creative assets. Each influencer post encouraged consumers to click-through to Snapchat’s voting tools to register and plan their ballot. Influencer partners created and shared original content using a custom Snap Lens and challenged three of their friends to do the same to help amplify the message. The campaign reached over 4.2M organic impressions and helped register over 2M young voters.
